How does the derby work?
- Every car has three lives, shown in its health bar.
- A front-end hit at 75% of top speed or above can remove a life from the other car.
- In a head-on impact, the faster car can deal damage. Exact speed ties cause no damage.
- Cars pick random targets with a bias towards the centre and try to reverse out of pile-ups.
- Zero lives means elimination. The last remaining car wins.
Made to see what happens.
A small playable simulation built with AI during Hatdon Dev Log #1. It has rough edges; we’re sharing the experiment and learning from it.
